FRANCISCO DE DAVILA

One of the 300 men that travels with Juan de Grijalva in his expedition. He travels with his 16-year-old son Diego. Francisco is a scholar and upon arrival to Tabasco on May 1518, he suffers a serious accident. The natives attend his wounds, but  he is unconscious and Grijalva decides to leave him there hoping they can return for him on their way back to Cuba. His son stays in Tabasco with the natives to take care of him.
